Great Barlington Farm

Location:

Great Barlington Farm, Roborough, Devon EX19 8AE

About:

Nestled in the beautiful Devon countryside, equal distance between the moors and the north coast, Copper Beech Crafts is hosted by me, at our family farm and offers an idyllic setting for creativity. Sitting on the top of a hill, tranquil surroundings of woods and farmland provide the perfect escape from the everyday. A spacious workroom in our 17th Century Farmhouse gives you an opportunity to relax, learn, and make your own creation at your own pace.

My husband’s family have lived and worked the land at Great Barlington as farmers for three generations and the farm is mentioned in the doomsday book! It is now our home where we live with our two girls.

When you reach the farm, you will notice the beautiful Copper Beech Tree which sits at the bottom of our drive. Follow the drive up and the farmhouse is hidden away between old stone barns to the left. You might hear a welcome bark from our friendly dog Luna and from the cows next door!

With plenty of parking on site, nearby cosy country pubs, and peaceful woodland walks to enjoy, if you are looking to extend your visit, it’s a welcoming place to spend some time.

How to find us:

Easily accessible from the A3866 or A377, we are outside the village of Roborough and close to Torrington, Bideford, Barnstaple and only an hour from Exeter.

Unfortunately some Satnavs can abandon you just before you reach us but if you keep going down the same road, you will drive through a little wood which opens out to a passing place and you will see our lovely Copper Beech at the entrance and our stone sign.
